Almost done

It's already January 2010...and it's been a long time since I've last reflected about the different aspects of my life and the world I live in. Confused between choosing my academics and social life..I was left undecided but quite sure that things will get better.

here I am in a world where everything for me is new and strange.
although I'm not far from my family that much, I still feel really sad..
I never imagined myself staying in this cold place, where the sun seems to be hiding from us most of the time.
as for now, i'm just waiting for the dates when there'll be no classes. I'm very excited and eager to go home...home sweet home.
It's quite enjoying to be able to taste the sweetness of independence but still, I could no longer afford to savor it. As I while the time being alone, its sweetness becomes bitterness.
yah..i know that it's a God given privilege for me to stay here in Baguio for my studies..and I'm grateful for that. But, I'm looking forward to going BACK HOME. huhu,and I'm praying for that.
well..a lesson I can share is the quote 'That is what learning is. yOU suddenly understand something you've understood in your life, but in A NEW WAY'

The world is really full of air, different kinds of air. It's not the air we breathe, nor the air we exhale but the air we create whenever we brag about something or pretend that we know a lot of things.
"I hate this superficial, phoney game we play," as what a choral interpretation piece says. But of course, everyday, you will always see, hear or feel those people who play superficiality and create a strange, annoying air in his/her surrounding. Hold on! You might be taken away by the strong wind. "Ang hangin dito," as what they say. Today, I have realized once again that boasting or pretending does not do any good at all. It irritates the hearers or spectators around you.
Well, I arrived with this lesson because of my father's conversation with a woman who inquired in our school. Incidentally, she has a daughter who'll study in UP Baguio. So, they talked about a lot of things. Some are useful, flashy and quite good..but the tone of her voice definitely did not please me. Apologies... I don't want to judge. Maybe, she's really like that whenever talking with people. Maybe, just maybe.. I have misinterpreted her words.
I just thank GOD that at least, this vacation, I have not become too lazy. Until next time, I'm looking forward to writing more articles or poems..

The past night I got struck with this quote that really awakes me from a deep slumber..
As I browsed on the pages of an English 2 College book, I giggled strangely because for me, I'm the No. 1 awardee of this quote..

"To err is human, but when the eraser wears out ahead of the pencil, you're overdoing it."
I really thank the one who said this quote. Although initially, I found it hard to accept this..I finally realized that it is RIGHT. I must think and rethink vigorously in order to come up with nice and flawless ideas, thoughts and opinions. I often run out of eraser whenever I write my own composition, particularly poems, essays and articles. It maybe hard to accept, but this barely shows my stubbornness and carelessness. Too many erasures...are over.
Significantly, this quote did not only teach me about my writings, but also refreshed in me the appetite to be more careful in my everyday undertakings, which includes my way of speaking, doing, socializing and many more.

By the way, about my life..
I thank GOD a lot for he has answered my BIG prayers. Though I did not pass UP Diliman, I still felt happy and contented for what He gave me. I will proceed to UP Baguio.

They always say..First things first.
But my question is, "How can you do the things that should be prioritized when the situations around you keep you from doing them first??!"

Today is the day that once again..I was refreshed. Spiritually and emotionally, I was able to cope with the disgusting hindrances around me.
Tomorrow, again, I need to go to class. I'm not being lazy. Maybe, I just want to spend more time outside the school premises so that I will not feel the pressures.
On my part as a student, I admit that I'm burdened. But still, I keep on thinking that BETTER DAYS ARE COMING. And I will not meet those better days unless I make them up myself.

Indeed, all these reminders are true.
So, whatever happens..though there are many discouragements, I'm still hopeful and I do claim that my prayers will be granted!

It's almost done..my UPCAT Review will end this coming May 25.I feel sad about it,but somehow I also feel happy.Well, I'll just do my best to learn a lot from this review. I will not take it for granted.Enrollment is fast approaching...I pray that I will still be with my old classmates.
