They always say..First things first.
But my question is, "How can you do the things that should be prioritized when the situations around you keep you from doing them first??!"
Today is the day that once again..I was refreshed. Spiritually and emotionally, I was able to cope with the disgusting hindrances around me.
Tomorrow, again, I need to go to class. I'm not being lazy. Maybe, I just want to spend more time outside the school premises so that I will not feel the pressures.
On my part as a student, I admit that I'm burdened. But still, I keep on thinking that BETTER DAYS ARE COMING. And I will not meet those better days unless I make them up myself.

A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump;
A God-shaped life is a flourishing tree.
Proverbs 11:28
“Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lessons afterwards.” Vernon Sanders Law
“A strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.”
Patricia Neal
So, whatever happens..though there are many discouragements, I'm still hopeful and I do claim that my prayers will be granted!

Mount like an eagle
I have written this poem when I was in 2nd year. Hence, is not well refined. The thoughts are not mature and deep enough to mesmerize a reader.
Everywhere you may go,
Or anywhere you may glow;
There is a special somewhere,
That surely you must grow.
Though your growth they say,
Would be very slow for going to and fro.
Or maybe criticizing you from head to toe.
And not contented still;
Giving of discouragements overflow.
Just let it flow.
Let them throw words too low,
And then they would know.
Thine foes would know,
Things they forbid ago;
Compel them to realize,
What things they didn’t show,
Those moments that seemed rainbows;
Rainbows of sorrows and woe.
But Oh No! Never choose to go.
Strive to learn positive from negative.
If these contradict, learn to be sensitive;
Be observant and never be a captive,
Nor be a slave of hatred;
Remember to forgive and give,
Instead to conceive feelings
That are negative.
Just do not tarry to run,
Run the race of life,
As long as you can.
Neglect things that are stun.
But search for those
That gives worthwhile fun.
Fun, because you have done;
The Great Commission you have begun.
Offer it all to God
Who is brighter than the sun,
Then somehow in sometime,
You’ll surely have…
Applaud from God for a task well done.
Everywhere you may go,
Or anywhere you may glow;
There is a special somewhere,
That surely you must grow.
Though your growth they say,

Evading from misery
A man in anguish,
Hears the swish of
Grief, suffering and death wish
Which no one could fathom
Neither think of,
But perhaps, may have a qualm.
A man of courage was he
Almost a sage maybe,
Not even aware of outrage,
But what bounded him to Cage?
Firstly, his wealth was gone
Some were stolen; some fell to arson.
His tireless efforts; pulled down.
Yet he still ventures to carry on,
For he still sees the dawn.
But, his family was also gone.
Everybody shot by a gun,
Not even one was able to run, none.
Too late for him to come
But only to witness the worst outcome
Which is truly hard to overcome.
“Job well done,” said someone.
Someone who was,
And is eminent in their city.
For him, it was witty,
But it was such a pity.
Gloom embraced the man.
So then, whispering of sins began.
And he made a plan.
It brought him to prison.
Without even a chance to reason,
And achievement of justice withdrawn.
But still in his heart,
Hope does not depart.
Seemed like a game;
Where he is going to restart.
And yet it happened.
He was set free through plea,
so his heart was filled with glee.
For the killer who caused him to kill,
Was legally declared as “guilty”.
Unreserved acquiescence
Submitting humbly to correction and reproof is much like applying alcohol into an open wound. Although it is an agonizing treatment, you need to do it so that you will feel better in the process. Later on, your wound will be healed.
Suppose you’re arguing with your younger cousin regarding political anomalies. You feel ecstatic because your brain overflows with the facts and opinions that would topple your cousin’s ideas. But actually, you are not sure about the facts and figures that you say. Despite this hindrance, you are still enthusiastic to reason out and defend your stand that you even forget you’re talking with your younger cousin. Surprisingly, he could still manage to point out good opinions. Worse, he could discern that you only invent the facts and figures you present about the topic. In a meek way, he advises you not to do that again. Your face turns red because of shame and embarrassment. Your younger cousin corrects you. Surely, it hurts the pride within you.
Or maybe, a classmate willingly teaches you about the topic that you missed. But, something urges you to ignore her because you are more intelligent than her. So, you could not take the situation that someone who is of less stature than yourself teaches you. Then, you leave her behind and simply disregard her efforts to help you. But, at the back of your head, someone says, “How dare you waste the opportunity to learn?”. You realize, by then, that she is the only one who can teach you because the rest are busy. You have no choice but to submit to her because there will be a quiz later. In this situation, your need to listen to her is just like the big necessity to apply alcohol into your wound so that it will be healed immediately. Hence, gulp down your pride because you really need and must listen to her.
Of course, you may be tempted to deny it and see if you could take the pain. This is like refusing alcohol to be put into your wound. You may be able to endure the pain for a while, but soon the wound gets severely infected. You would now need to see a doctor. This will require a larger piece of time, effort and money.
Always pretending that you don’t need help and that you always do right endures only in the short run. You will find out that it’s harder to endure the pain when you don’t apply remedy right away. As in reality, it’s harder to be a better person when you refuse to accept correction or reproof.
For this reason, it matters a lot to cure your wound through using alcohol. When you receive correction or reproof from one of less stature than yourself, just humbly admit it and submit inwardly as well as outwardly without any pride, rebellion, or resentment rising up within your heart.

I feel pressured..annoyed with the circumstances that kept on bothering my mind. I know, for one reason, that I also became lazy in the past months. But, is it a sin to rest?!When you really feel tired and your body would almost bar down, what would you do?Could you still do the tasks that you need to do?Maybe, I'm becoming emotional or exaggerated in expressing my feelings.But....I still hope and claim that my prayers will be granted.
Got to log off...Until next time..
Got to log off...Until next time..

It matters..
Everyone was and is always wallowed to work,
Has fair skills meant for doing a good work.
Better still, for achieving the best work.
But it is not as plain as a work,
Which seeks applaud from any folk.
Has fair skills meant for doing a good work.
Better still, for achieving the best work.
But it is not as plain as a work,
Which seeks applaud from any folk.
Getting things done, makes a man.
It marks the point in his plan-
Puts an end to cruelty that began,
Since man was fooled by Satan.
Though immoralities prevail,
Legalities eemed too frail;
But still, genuine work would never fail,
To straighten any crooked trail.
Along our action comes the deed,
It's more than a creed,
And is equal to what we need.
Good deeds make us lead.
Hence, enables us to succeed
Success which is more blessed,
If you strive for it and got stressed.
Disregarding how you were supressed,
But the best thing is that you progressed.
Pursuing dreams with purpose,
Is a way up close,
Whereto your dream glows;
As long as you don't dispose your purpose.
But rather it's the one that you endose,
To your heart where you impose;
Rules which are valiant-you suppose.

Stay away!
The United States economic recession is both epidemic and contagious.
The Asian Development Bank warned that prolonged volatility in global financial markets could lead to a reversal of capital flows to emerging East Asian countries.
"Though the region is resilient in previous periods of financial turbulence, several risks remain," the ADB said in the November issue of Asia Bond Monitor. Along with the limited exposure to U.S. subprime mortgages, wider ramifications could not be ruled out in the future. Subprime mortgages refer to housing credit given to borrowers with imperfect credit history and little equity. Rising subprime delinquencies in the U.S. have spooked financial markets as big banks took bad hits from exposure to financial instruments with subprime credit as underlying asset.In turn, it has caused sporadic investor aversion to assets from emerging markets.
Uncertainty regarding the losses from U.S. subprime delinquencies- together with an onset of high volatility in markets could also result in yen buy backs and could also set off an unwinding of the yen "carry trade." The yen "carry trade" refers to the borrowing of funds from the low-interest Japan and investing the proceeds in higher yielding assets. The Philippines, which has lured in $3.7 billion worth of hot money or investments in local stocks and bonds from January to October this year from only $1.97 billion a year ago, is among the beneficiaries of this carry trade phenomenon.
Also, credit and debt creation in U.S. seemed to have no limits. Consumers stopped saving and went on a borrowing and spending spree. They borrowed to consume and invest. Savings shrank to zero and mortgage debt rose.
All these inevitable conditions have the great potential to disrupt local currency bond markets and market liquidity more generally.
They will slowly but surely weaken the stamina of our shrinking economy.The U.S. recession syndrome will infect our country's immune system.

Loyalty to History
Sharon was in deep slumber but unusual noises awakened her. The strange hush of the wind gave a terrible warning. Suddenly, cold hearted brutes snatched away her peaceful life. She was 13 years old then and was sold for $30. In a brothel, 8-15 men raped her every night even when she had her menstruation or fever. More than 1,500 men had sexually molested her by the time she was able to escape.
Nowadays, the number of prostitutes in the Philippines is about the size of the manufacturing workforce, according to Former Philippine Labor Undersecretary Rene Ofreneo. This boldly says that there is a huge number of people who almost has the same case with Sharon.
Based on the Kyodo News, August 18, 1998, there were 400,000 to 500,000 prostitutes in the Philippines. Worse, 3,266 more children were forced into the sex industry every year based on Today's News, February 24, 1998. Among the 500,000 prostitutes, there were 150,000 Filipinas who have been trafficked into prostitution in Japan, according to Daily Star, July 2, 1998. In the InterPress Service last October 12, 1997, The Philippines was ranked as the 4th among 9 nations with the most children in prostitution. In the same event, it was found out that 37 provinces had sex rings. No doubt why Philippines is one of the favored destinations of paedophile sex tourists from Europe and U.S. based on the Indian Express article, November 21, 1997.
These records do not become past although they were taken 10 years ago. Instead, they remain as intimate proofs of the AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Theorem. What we have sowed, we now reap. The only difference is that we reap pests, not fruits.
Does it sound remarkable? Definitely, yes. Now, I believe, history repeats itself. Last Jnauary 21,the NBI Caraga Regional Office has noted an increase in immorality cases such as prostitution,paedophilia,pornography and trafficking, to name a few. In 1998,The rise in prostitution increased the spread of AIDS. Until now, it happens. Yet, it even grew worse.
To think of those prostitutes in the past 10 years, it's really agonizing. A harsh reality, indeed. No wonder why their remnants still haunt us today- the terrifying human immunodeficiency viruses..
