Mount like an eagle

I have written this poem when I was in 2nd year. Hence, is not well refined. The thoughts are not mature and deep enough to mesmerize a reader.

Everywhere you may go,
Or anywhere you may glow;
There is a special somewhere,
That surely you must grow.
Though your growth they say,
Would be very slow for going to and fro.
Or maybe criticizing you from head to toe.
And not contented still;
Giving of discouragements overflow.
Just let it flow.
Let them throw words too low,
And then they would know.

Thine foes would know,
Things they forbid ago;
Compel them to realize,
What things they didn’t show,
Those moments that seemed rainbows;
Rainbows of sorrows and woe.
But Oh No! Never choose to go.

Strive to learn positive from negative.
If these contradict, learn to be sensitive;
Be observant and never be a captive,
Nor be a slave of hatred;
Remember to forgive and give,
Instead to conceive feelings
That are negative.

Just do not tarry to run,
Run the race of life,
As long as you can.
Neglect things that are stun.
But search for those
That gives worthwhile fun.
Fun, because you have done;
The Great Commission you have begun.
Offer it all to God
Who is brighter than the sun,
Then somehow in sometime,
You’ll surely have…
Applaud from God for a task well done.
